I am now living an entirely different life than the one I was when I brought in 2014, and I have a feeling 2015 is going to be a defining one. In 2014 I graduated and turned 21 on the same day, started a rather grown up job, stopped working in TV, moved cities/countries, got a car, moved from a student house to my own flat, closed the book on a 5 year relationship, and other smaller things like finding a hair colour I like, eating healthier foods and getting a cool phone. In short, 2014 was the year everything changed, and I think for the better.
2015 has so far been good. I know this is only 4 days in, but still. I've already spent lots of time with my family, caught up with old friends and made some new ones. I'm not setting myself resolutions this year, because I'm very much of the opinion that if you're going to make a change, you might as well start the moment you decide! I am however going to try and read more, which I have already kind of managed as I finished my first book of the year yesterday. Oh, and I discovered the Pop Punk Powerhouses playlist on Spotify and now I feel 16 again/have the perfect background music for when I'm in my flat.
Going forward, if the last 4 months have taught me anything, it is that I don't have that much spare time, and when I do, I don't spend it blogging. This obviously means my blog has suffered and I just don't have the time or energy to pour as much into it as I did before. That being said, I'm not going to abandon it - it's just going to switch focus from a predominantly fashion/beauty blog to more of my own personal diary. I know blogs usually go the other way, but hey, what's the point in having one if you can't write about what you want?
I hope your 2015 is as good as I think mine is going to be!
